Kona Fly-by


My 60-inch Spinner flies by the top of a dry, rocky cinder cone on the Kona coast, The Kona, or Leeward side of the Big Island is sheltered from the moist trade winds by two 13,000+ foot mountains. Winds are shifty and thermals are common -- which makes the flying fun and challenging.
