Kona Wind, Kohala Mountains A rare Kona wind -- from the normally leeward side of the island -- brings lift to the top of a high grassy hill overlooking the slopes of the Kohala Mountains on the North end of the Big Island. Mixed our usual Sunday mountain bike ride with some great flying.
